Instructions for the ballot petions

The County Supervisor of Elections will be validating petitions and will invalidate any ballot petition that does not meet these guidelines.

Please follow these simple guidelines to ensure your ballot petition is validated:

• Make sure your ballot printed clearly and is complete
• You must be a registered Florida voter to sign this ballot petition.
• All information you enter on this ballot petition must match the information on your voter’s registration card.
• Your information must be legible or it will not be validated.
• Do not use surnames or titles: Examples no Dr. Ms. Mrs. Or Mr.
• Petitions must be signed with an ink pen
• Do not put anything in the Paid Circulators Text Box
• Be sure all information form fields are filled out and the petition is signed and dated.
